Splash Time!
The Garey Park Splash Pad is one of the best places for kids to cool off around Georgetown. The splash pad is located in the southwestern corner of Garey Park and offers cool, wet activities for every kid (and kid at heart). Not only does the the splash pad help kids to enjoy the out of doors on hot days, but it also encourages physical activity.
The nearly 7,000 square foot amenity offers 28 water features controlled by motion sensors, including 5 water cannons, 2 water tunnels, a spider spray and a large water mill — a recipe for fun!
It’s easy to keep it cool on hot summer days at Garey Park’s splash pad. The pad has very little standing water, offering a safe, low-risk environment where children can play and parents can relax.
The splash pad offers a play environment that encourages interaction. Children can play impromptu games, blast water cannons, and anxiously stand together in anticipation of “the bucket” to drop its water from above. The splash pad has multiple spray zones that appeal to all age groups.
