When is Garey Park Open?
Garey Park offers 6 miles of equestrian trails, a playground, a splash pad, a dog park, rentable pavilions and hiking trails, but keep the park’s operating hours in mind before you pack up and head for the hills. The city park has hours that vary by season.
Visitors will not be admitted within 30 minutes of the park’s closing time. Admission fees are $5 per car (2 people) for residents and $10 per car for nonresidents.
Garey Park Spring and Summer Hours
From April 1-September 30, the park is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to take advantage of longer daylight hours.
Garey Park Fall and Winter Hours
From October 1-March 31, Garey Park is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. due to shorter days.
We love Garey park but would love it if it could open earlier in the summer so we can walk before it gets so hot. Please consider opening at 7 or even 7:30, thanks!
