1. Walking & Running Trails
The walking and running trails at Garey Park offer access around the perimeter of the park and along the San Gabriel River. The trails are typical trails meeting ADA standards and provide a loop throughout the park as well as connectivity to regional connections. In total, there are three miles of trails for pedestrians to enjoy.
2. Hiking Trails
For those looking to get off the well-beaten path, Garey Park offers more remote trails that were designed to access more rugged terrain, often composed of compacted earth.
Not sure where to go or what you’re looking at? The park offers guided nature hikes on a regular basis. Just sign up and show up!
3. Interpretive Walking Trails
These trails provide educational and informational signage of plant material, wildlife, views or other features of interest. These interpretive trails are great for educational groups interested in learning more about the natural systems that we live in, that surround us.
4. Equestrian Trails
The park features six miles of trails just for horseback riding. The equestrian trails located at Garey Park are exclusively dedicated to horses. The trails run throughout the park and are separate from pedestrian trails.
